Alan Whipps joined the board of Wahl & Holland Recovery with a deep-rooted passion for supporting those overcoming addiction. Witnessing his brother's struggles and ongoing journey in recovery has profoundly influenced Alan's perspective on addiction. His brother's dedication to maintaining a clean life, now thriving with a family and a successful career, inspires Alan's commitment to this cause.

In addition to his work with Wahl & Holland Recovery, Alan is dedicated to serving the Portage community through his role as a Business Banker at 1st Source Bank. With over a decade of experience in the banking industry, Alan is passionate about fostering financial growth and stability within the community. Alan is proud to work for a mission-driven organization like 1st Source Bank, which believes in giving back to the community it serves.

Alan is actively involved in various volunteer activities in Portage. He serves as Board Treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Portage and Portage Student Builders, and as a Board Member for Portage EDC. Additionally, he is an Ambassador and Finance Committee Member for the Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce. Alan also delivers meals to seniors on a weekly basis through the Meals on Wheels program at the VNA.
